The technology is based on the work of its Chief Technical Officer, David Livshits, PhD. Dr. Livshits was granted more than 200 inventions in the Soviet Union prior to 1990 and since has had more than 75 patent applications and over 25 granted in various countries. He was born and raised in the former Soviet Union where he received his PhD. and began his scientific work with the Soviet Military. Before leaving Russia and emigrating to Israel in 1990, he rose through the years to become the equivalent of the head of science and technology of the Soviet Union – Head of the Thematic Department of the Russian research and development program and Radio Engineering where he supervised 2,500 developers and engineers. He was the lead scientist tasked with the cleanup of the Chernobyl reactor explosion. For the years 1985, 1987 and 1989, he was awarded the title of Best Inventor of the USSR. While in the Soviet Union, he had 28 published works and over 200 inventions to his credit. Once in Israel, he rebuilt his career as an engineer and developed significant expertise in water treatment and fluid dynamics, and continued his proclivity for invention and innovation. He moved to the United States in 2004 working in areas of robotics, automation, optics and water treatment before helping to found Turbulent Energy LLC. bringing his experience, knowledge and extensive portfolio of published and unpublished inventions and patents.
Ron Schreiber is Chairman of the Management Committee and brings a long and successful history of building, managing and funding companies. He is currently a partner in SoftBank Capital and co-founded and built Seed Capital Partners, an early stage venture fund in association with the SoftBank Group. Prior to that, he co-founded SOFTBANK Services Group which became Sitel Worldwide through a series of acquisitions. Prior to that he founded Software Distribution Services which again through acquisitions became Ingram Micro (NYSE:IM) a leading wholesale computer products distributor with over $23B in annual revenue. He led all acquisitions, technical units and product support functions at the company. Ron served on the executive team at Ingram for three years. He serves on numerous boards and has led investments in a wide variety of companies in both the U.S., China and Israel.
Herb Zlotogorski is CEO and has over 30 years experience in senior management positions. He served as CEO of Insightix leading to its sale to McAfee. Prior to that he served as interim CEO of TriSixty Security, founded and was the CEO of ScaleMP, an Israeli startup. Previously he had been the CEO of Global Commerce Zone and COO of Accent Software. Before moving to Israel in 1991 he served as VP Technology at Bankers Trust Corporation in New York.
Jeffrey Engel is an entrepreneur, inventor, industry advisor and experienced operating officer and board member. Jeff founded and served as CEO of an early stage technology venture in printed electronics, worked in private equity with Icahn Associates and was the COO and board member of a billar dollar Icahn controlled global textile manufacturer, lead the multi-billion dollar Americas supply chain operations as an Executive Director at the Ford Motor Company and is a senior advisor across many industries including; energy, chemicals, discrete manufacturing, commercial vehicles and automotive.
